WELCOME to Trinity Presbyterian Church
Christian faith is in motion here at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Herndon, Virginia...from the quick pitter-patter of little feet to the deliberate steps seasoned with time. There is a spirit of journey taking place, journey filled with promise. Ours is a shared faith journey that is mapped with hope and paved with the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
As a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA), we affirm the sovereignty of God over every facet of human life. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we seek to equip ourselves in God's love and truth. It is my privilege to welcome you to this household of faith. As you visit with us, be assured that Jesus Christ meets you where you are, accepts you as you are, and desires to guide you into becoming what you were created to be. I pray you will discover refreshment and renewal for your faith here at Trinity and that you might be led to join our fellowship and grow in your understanding of God and service to the Lord.
Faithfully, Stephen

Stephen Ministry Training and News
A new Stephen Ministry Training Class is being planned.
Classes are offered every other year. This is a wonderful opportunity for spiritual growth and communication skills refinement in a small group fellowship. Help sustain the 5-year-old program at Trinity and benefit from the more than 30-year expertise of Stephen Ministries.
This one-to-one ministry is in particular need of women this year to continue to meet the needs of the congregation.
Please indicate your interest by contacting a Stephen Leader by July 25, 2008. Contact: Joan Gillard at dgillard@cox.net OR Teri Osborn at tmosbo@verizon.net OR Stephen Smith-Cobbs at the church office.
“A Summer Potpourri”
Summer Adult Sunday School 2008
A lively group, whose composition changes from week to week as vacationers come and go and newcomers discover us, meets each Sunday (except July 6) at 11:15 am in Rooms 11-15, for discussion on topics of spiritual disciplines, contemporary issues, theology, and more. Some of the sessions come from the personal knowledge and experience of the leaders; many utilize materials from www.thethoughtfulChristian.com, an invaluable resource to which Trinity subscribes, thanks to a member’s generous donation. Child care is provided. These are the topics and facilitators being planned for the upcoming classes. Please check the poster in the narthex for any changes.
