Trinity Youth
Welcome! Welcome to a clique-free, drama-free zone where young people forge close friendships with each other and come to know God better. Whoever you are, whatever you are like, we say WELCOME! God's kingdom is big enough for you, and with us, you always fit in!
Youth who are in 4th - 6th grade meet once a month for "Trinity Tribe," an exciting time when they hang out, learn, play outrageous games, serve together, and take part in "Popcorn Olympics" or bowling. Join us! Contact Nancy Willis (nafw@aol.com) with any questions about how to get involved!
Youth who are in the 7th - 12th grade gather weekly for Youth Group. From laser tag and paintball, to jam sessions, to small groups sharing what's going on in their lives, this group covers the extremes. Join us! You'll soon see why we love it. We hope you'll be a part of "us." Lots of youth in our youth group have come from different schools, different churches and different cities. We, well actually God, makes it work! Contact Director of Youth Ministry Mary Pratt (marypratt3@gmail.com), Associate Pastor Becca Messman (ap@trinityherndon.org), or any youth or youth advisor, to get plugged in.

UPCOMING YOUTH GROUP EVENTS
Week of Hope and Work Camp 2010
Week of Hope, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Community Service
For Junior Highs (rising 8th and 9th graders)
July 11-16, 2010
Known nationally for its association with the steel industry, Pittsburgh is packed with honest, hardworking people whose solid character gives new meaning to the phrase “Steel City.” However, the Pittsburgh area has an abundance of elderly residents as well as many individuals affected by unemployment. Some communities are still recovering from the harsh, drastic weather they have been subjected to in the last few years.
Our group’s service will make a real dent in the need of “Steel City.”
We have 10 spaces for youth and 2 spaces for adults! Adults and youth, don’t hesitate to contact
Pastor Becca or Mary Pratt with any questions! Click here for an application!
Work Camp, Savannah, Georgia
Home Repair
For Senior Highs (rising 10th through just completed 12th)
July 10-18, 2010
You’ll marvel at this port city so rich in history and southern tradition. Grand, restored mansions stand proudly along carefully cobbled streets. But there’s also another Savannah…one with houses that are battered by time and salt air, with peeling paint, sagging steps and crumbling porches. You’ll turn these tumbledown dwellings into snug, comfortable homes for the friendly people who live here. It’s an amazing experience of service that will turn the empty looks of strangers into the happy faces of friends. Bring your service and love to the hospitality of the south!
We have 20 spaces for youth and 4 spaces for adults!
Let us know of your interest. Click here for an application!
