Reston Interfaith
Reston Interfaith was founded in 1970 by area religious organizations to encourage the development of affordable housing and has expanded to include other concrete resources including a child development center, parent education and support, food and financial assistance and other programs to help people live successfully in our community. Today its programs serve about 20,000 people in Reston, Herndon and the surrounding area each year.
Volunteers can participate in a variety of programs at several facilities including the Embry Rucker Community Shelter and the Laurel Learning Center. If you are interested in knowing more about the programs and volunteer opportunities, please visit Reston Interfaith’s website or call 571-323-9565.
Youth must be 16 or older to volunteer. A variety of group drives and collections are available if your group is looking for a project.
