Parents
If you are a young family and are looking for fellowship with those who share your position in life, as well as ways to worship, learn, serve, and play... we are here for you! From informal family gatherings to Sunday School classes for parents and caregivers of young children, to a Childcare Co-Op during the 11am service… we offer something to appeal to everyone.
- Informal Gatherings: Throughout the year we offer the opportunity to gather with other families so you can meet other families with young children from our church. We all enjoy a very casual dinner together, then have time to gather for some adult conversation and fellowship in a peaceful setting while our kids enjoy some playtime in a supervised setting.
- Sunday School for Parents or Caregivers of Young Children: This “class” takes place the first and third Sundays of every month and is led by Associate Pastor Becca Messman, herself a new parent. Think of the many times you may have passed other parents in the hallway, longing to forge a connection here at church, but knowing the time is limited and your hands are full. If so, this class is for you! This class will be framed around fellowship and Christian community building, Biblical Equipping (letting the Bible equip us for the reality of our daily lives), prayer and service. As schedules can be challenging, we welcome anyone to just come when you can.
