Deep Friendships, Lifelong Growth

At Trinity, we believe faith is a journey, not a destination. As we strive to grow in our relationship with God, we recognize that spiritual growth is nurtured in community. We offer a diverse range of opportunities for adult programming, from structured classes and Bible studies to informal gatherings and retreats. Whether through Sunday morning classes, Wednesday gatherings, seasonal studies, small groups, or fellowship groups, our adult programs are designed to help members become more informed, involved, thoughtful, and faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.

  • Sunday Morning Live

    This weekly adult discipleship class provides a welcoming environment for adults to deepen their understanding of scripture, discuss special topics and current events, and explore opportunities to live out Christ's call within the church and the wider community. Recent studies have included Women of the Bible, The Tears of Things: Prophetic Wisdom for an Age of Outrage by Richard Rohr, and When Helping Hurts: How to Alleviate Poverty without Hurting the Poor... and Yourself by Steve Corbett and Brian Fikkert.

    Christian Growth

    This class uses a quarterly curriculum called “Bible Expositor and Illuminator” to allow participants to deepen their understanding of scripture and strengthen their daily walk with Christ. The curriculum offers a series of discussion questions, a section that discusses the meaning of the text from the Jewish perspective, and an article that relates to world missions.

    The Parents’ Class (meets monthly after worship during our Third Sunday family ministry)

    This vibrant monthly fellowship group, open to all parents, connects around topics of interest to those of us navigating raising children. The backbone of this group is time to check in with one another to receive support and encouragement for the important work of parenting. The parents’ group also meets for fellowship at homes throughout the year.

  • Wednesday Care Chat, 9:30-10:00am

    Participants can drop in occasionally or on a regular basis to this online space for prayer and spiritual care.

    Wednesday Bible Study, 10:00-11:00am

    This online Bible study, led by our pastors, focuses on Scripture passages that will be referenced in the following Sunday service.

  • Third Saturday of the month (except December) at 8:30am, Fellowship Hall

    Open to all men regardless of age—we even have children join on occasion!—Trinity Men meets once a month for breakfast. After a devotion and short presentation, we discuss service projects and other ways we can contribute our time and talents to the church and community.

  • This women’s group offers monthly fellowship through daytime activities and gatherings, from museum trips to service projects.

  • ChristCare Groups meet throughout the month for deep sharing and community. Current groups include “Men Sharing Christ’s Care” and a daytime group, with additional groups in the works for young adults and empty nesters.

  • Trinity also offers seasonal studies on a variety of topics. We recently completed a church-wide study of the book Never Alone: Sharing the Gift of Community in a Lonely World, in which fifty participants took part in six different groups meeting throughout the week. We also hosted a group discussion of Crucial Conversations: Tools for Talking When Stakes Are High during the season of Lent, and completed a study guided by the podcast We Are the Great Turning featuring environmental teacher and writer Joanna Macy.
