Children
We Love Our Children
Children are welcomed in worship and throughout Trinity’s congregational life. Our church’s size is large enough to sustain age-appropriate programs where kids build friendships with one another, yet intimate enough that they are integrated with the congregation as a whole, fostering intergenerational relationships that are all too rare in our modern world. Our Next Gen Ministry Coordinator supports our ministries for children and youth.
Children’s Chapel
Children’s Chapel serves elementary-aged children during the worship hour. Following the Moment for Young People led by the pastor, children are invited to Children’s Chapel classrooms to build friendship and explore the Bible through music, hands-on activities, and age-appropriate lessons. Children’s Chapel is led by rotating, background-checked leaders.
Nursery care
Nursery care is available for children up to kindergarten age during the Sunday School hour and worship service. Nursery workers are paid members of our staff and are background-checked.
Third Sunday
Once a month after worship, parents gather with one another for support, encouragement, and friendship, while children and youth are invited to take part in age-specific activities that include recreation, service projects, and community-building. Then, everyone reconvenes for a family-style meal in the Fellowship Hall.
Vacation Bible Camp
VBC is a beloved institution at Trinity—a high-energy, high-joy week each summer that draws children from the congregation and the broader community.
