Youth are the present and the future of the church! Trinity’s teens are active and engaged in the congregation and in the broader community at Trinity. As a result of a visioning process a few years ago in which we engaged youth, their parents, past and current volunteers, and former youth, our focus is on integrating youth into active ministry in the broader church. Our Next Gen Ministry Coordinator supports our ministries for youth.

Sunday Morning

High schoolers gather with their age cohort on Sundays from 9:00-10:00am for fun and learning, led by Pastor MaryAnn and other adult leaders.

Youth Group

Youth gather throughout the year for fun, faith-building, and service projects.

Third Sunday

Once a month after worship, families gather to take part in age-specific activities that include recreation, service projects, and community-building. Then, everyone reconvenes for a family-style meal in the Fellowship Hall.

Leadership

Young people take on meaningful roles in worship leadership, have assisted with our livestream team, and play a significant leadership role in Vacation Bible Camp each summer, bridging the generations and giving teenagers meaningful ownership in the life of the congregation. One of our youth currently serves on the Board of Deacons, and two teens are overseeing a new children’s choir, in partnership with an adult advisor, called Joyful Noise.
