1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Trinity collects data from members, visitors, and website visitors that is voluntarily shared with it such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, and mailing addresses collected via contact or prayer forms.  It collects credit card numbers or bank details processed through online tithing and donation portals.  It collects IP addresses, browser types, and cookie data gathered automatically by web hosting servers.  Trinity does not intentionally target or collect data from children under 13, and we may require parental consent for certain activities involving children.  Trinity may also receive information from the pre-school that meets at Trinity.

2. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?

Trinity uses the information that it collects in communications such as weekly church emails and newsletters, ministry updates, prayer chain alerts, or event reminders.  Trinity uses financial-related information to process and manage donations, track charitable tax receipts, and processing event registration payments.  We use other data to analyzing website traffic patterns to optimize layout, navigation, and content relevance.  We collect and use information that we collect to provide our members with a membership directory, display information on our website such as calendars and events, receive and respond to requests for information, collect and processing donations, contact forms, connection cards, event registration forms, and cookie tracking.  Some of the information that we collect may be placed in announcements or service bulletins, used in organizing small groups, or in providing spiritual care.

3. WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH ANYONE?

Your information may be shared with the pastors, other church leaders, with other members in the membership directory, with volunteers organizing and putting on classes and other events, and with outside organizations that you volunteer to work with.  Data will be shared with Trinity’s church management software, email marketing tools, MailChimp, PushPay, and other payment processors.  If Trinity receives a notification from another congregation advising it that a member on Trinity’s membership role has joined that congregation, Trinity will acknowledge that notification and remove such persons from Trinity’s membership roll, unless you direct Trinity not to do so. Trinity never sells or rents the data that it collects to commercial marketers.  Data may be disclosed if required by law enforcement or subpoenas.

4. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

Trinity may use cookies or other tracking technologies to monitor the use of its website and make improvements.

5. IS YOUR INFORMATION TRANSFERRED INTERNATIONALLY?

Trinity does not share the data that it collects internationally.

6. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

Trinity keeps the information that it uses as long as it needs the information for its normal operation, unless someone asks Trinity to delete their information.

7. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

Access to confidential information is restricted to persons who need to access the information for Trinity’s operation and programs.  We use encryption for donation transactions for extra security.

8. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

You have full privacy rights as provided for by applicable laws. If you ask Trinity to update or delete any data relating to you it will do so.

9. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Trinity’s website currently does not respond to do not track signals in browsers.

10. DO RESIDENTS OF CALIFORNIA AND OTHER STATES HAVE SPECIFIC RIGHTS?

Members and website visitors have rights according to the laws of the states in which they live.

11. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS NOTICE?

If and when Trinity updates its privacy policy the updates will be reflected in this section of the website.
